PUBLIC ACCESS RULES

Very simple. Anyone may view pages and content at this portal site unless of course that page has been locked against public viewing by the content creator (Yes - content creators CAN allow viewing to certain Membership groups - or Allow General Public viewing rights).

We allow the general Public the ability to participate in our Online Arcade Games sections, send off E-Cards to friends or family, you can Vote on certain articles and other content, and of course you can VIEW most of our online Forums discussions, Classifieds (find upcoming Garage sales or Special Buys), and more.

General viewers of this site (non registered viewers) can NOT participate in our forums (no posting rights), post content in the News Columns, Article Columns, Job Postings, Classifieds, Send Private Messages, and other modules within this site. Such things are for members ONLY.

This is essentially an alternative online News and information resource created FOR registered members of this unique online News Portal site which features CONTENT as written by our registered members. You are sure to find some very unique perspectives as written by our members, as well as many fine local resources, business listings, Classifieds and more. 

• IF you forget your login password - You CAN use the forgot password feature to have a New Password sent to your Email Address you used when you signed up at this site!
  
  IF you lied to use about your Email account, you will never receive this password reset information and your account WILL be removed!
  
• Membership is allowed for residents in Flagler Estates and Hastings, Elkton, Armstrong Florida.
• This site is focused on these areas so let us keep this site relevant in our postings and content please
• Members MUST keep their information up to date
• When Posting content do NOT post content using all CAPS (very rude)
• When Posting content do NOT break our page layout by posting any images larger than 320 pixels in width (we have a tutorial SHOWING you how to do that)
• When placing outside links to outside resources - Make the link load into a New Blank Window (we have a tutorial SHOWING you how to do that)
• When Posting content do NOT SPAM the content by placing words/phrases over and over and over (it will be removed)
• All postings made MUST be done in English!

Posting content is very easy to do within our site as a member. Remember however that IF YOU POST CONTENT which was created by someone else (which includes Linking UP to their site), you MUST get their permission FIRST!  Posting content at ANY SITE which someone else created at the very least should include Full Credit, Source information, and maybe more depending upon the source of the article/information...

Just ASK the source creator if you can re post their content with full credits to them and 99% of the time you will get permission to do so as long as you include credit for the article back to them.

• NO Links to sites which offer Envelope stuffing offers 
• NO Offers to make money by placing ads online 
• NO abuse of other members of this site please!
• NO links to sites which make one display a popup upon entering the site 
• No links to sites which display ADULT CONTENT on the main page 
• No ADULT IMAGES ARE ALLOWED to be posted by a member
• No Links or content which are against the US Constitution, or The US Bill of Rights
• No content/Links/ or other which are prejudicial in nature
• No attempts to 'Game' our site or its systems is allowed
• You are NOT allowed to upload images to the image manager UNLESS we have set up an account in the image manager for you to use for your photos/images. Image Manager accounts are created via Request to us using the PM system. Your image manager account will be the exact same folder name as your username (the name you use to login to this site)! 
  
  If you navigate into the image manager and do NOT see your username listed, you are NOT authorized to use the image manager to upload images/photos! Abuse of this policy WILL result in your nice wysiwyg editor access rights REMOVED!
  
  IF on the other hand we have setup an account for you in the image manager, you would click on your Folder Name (same name as your login name) and that is where your images/photos would be uploaded into and managed from there!
  
• Members of our site who DO have full WYSIWYG editor rights would do well to review some of our various online Video Tutorials at: http://florida-webmasters.com/videos/ which is available to general members and even non members alike. Also members with enhanced rights (such as full WYSIWYG editor access will wish to review: http://florida-webmasters.com/videos/adplacers  (the adplacers folder IS password protected).
  
  Send us a PM message to: owner to request the login password to the adplacers videos!
  
• Members are NOT allowed to give OUT their username/password to allow ANYONE else the ability to post under their account name. These things ARE MONITORED by us and the system overall so just don't do it or your account MAY well be automatically BANNED BY THE SYSTEM!

Members are NOT allowed to place Ads, Advertising, or Marketing of any sort in our Forums, Chat Box area, and You are NOT ALLOWED to send PM's (Private Messages) to other members of a marketing or advertising nature.  We have setup Dedicated Classifieds sections which ARE meant for advertising for your business, realty, products for sale, Personals Ads, and more... Use the Classifieds for such things as they are very good...

You must follow the rules for membership at each of the above should you wish to sign up. Much like this site these also allow certain Posting rights and such. If you for example live in St Augustine, Florida - It may serve you well to sign up to the St Augustine web portal site.

MAILINGS BY US TO MEMBERS

As a member of this service you have agreed to allow us to send you an occasional email of importance. Our Emails to members of this system will be sent no more than once every two weeks so this is not a burden on anyone. Our mailings will include important notices about system updates on this service, New Features we will add from time to time, Important local area News of importance and likely some Light Advertising from local area merchants within your own area.

Members ARE required to keep their account information up to date which includes their email address (which is used internally). When we send out our email notices per the above, IF we get a bounce backs from your account, we will simply REMOVE your account.

Members wishing to contact us to request updating their account status, adding new categories to various sections of this site, to report a Nasty Posting, or other member related issue MUST contact us via this sites Private Messenger system (PM) in order that we honor such requests.
